Young Avocado Plant
I live in Michigan, but I like tropical plants. Is there a way, even if it is over years or something, to adapt tropical plants to growing outside in a cold climate?
Like an avocado tree for instance. Can I make it so it will still produce some fruit?
Thanks so much!

Only if you live for ten thousand years…

Climate change, although there is such a big panic about it, doesn’t change fast enough to make that kind of tropical plant able to grow in cold climates.
For a long time to come they will still need protection from the cold.
So we’re talking hundreds or even thousands of years to change the climate enough for that to happen, and it’s unlikely that humans will even be around. Sorry to burst your bubble!
