I just bought this (probably?) succulent at an Asian farmers’ market — the woman selling them did not speak enough English to be able to tell me what it was.
It was out in the sun and there were others that were also/even more “bushy” at the base. Some were in more shaded areas and didn’t have the red.
Hopefully these pictures are enough.
Thanks!

Senecio??
by: Jacki
The leaf shape is similar to some of the genus Senecio, but the way the leaves clasp the stem is different. Until it flowers, unless someone recognizes it, there really isn’t any way to be sure.
It does look very succulent, so don’t overwater it. Besides not encouraging rot, less water will also keep it smaller.
This looks like the kind of plant that will grow a lot in the right conditions.
Keep it in bounds by not giving it more than what it needs to survive.
Make sure you keep it in bright light too!

Kalanchoe Kewensis
by: Deejay
I think I have this plant too. The nursery I bought it from didn’t know what it was. I got excited when I found this post but then disappointed that no one knew what it was. However I think it must be Kalanchoe Kewensis. I does look like it could take over half the known world if given a chance. 😉

or…

Kalanchoe laciniata. Darn, found another candidate. If the flowers are red – kewensis. Yellow for laciniata.
