First of all, thank you so much for this service. I appreciate your knowledge and am glad to pay for it. I am making two succulent arrangements, one winter dormant (echeverias) and one summer dormant (aeoniums, crassulas and kalanchoes).

I picked up these three at Trader Joe’s in California this week. I know one is an Echeveria Painted Lady. I would like to identify the exact name of the other two, but most importantly, which arrangement to include them with.

There are two plants here, so I am not sure what to do to pay again. If you can answer both, great. If you can send me a bill to pay, I will. If you can answer one, I can order a second purchase and send the same picture again.

I hope the picture is what you need. I do not know anything about pixels. It is just taken with my Android cell phone. Please let me know if I need to do anything differently. Thank you, Debbie

So, first of all, you did everything right with the photos, no need to resubmit or pay extra. I can tell you that these are all Echeveria. The purplish one is Echeveria ‘Perle von Nurnberg’, and the other one is possibly Echeveria glauca, but there are so many similar ones that it’s impossible to say for sure. They would fit into your winter dormant category.

More about how to grow Echeveria.
