WHEN TO REPOT

I have a Sticks on Fire (Euphorbia tirucalli) that is 10 years old and 2 1/2 ft tall. Spends winters in side and outside when warms up in zone 5. My question is when should I repot this as has been in the same pot 3 years? It is doing very well now so not sure to repot now or wait? Unfortunately this picture does got give a full view of its beauty.

WHEN TO REPOT

I have a large sticks on fire Euphorbia tirucalli that is about 10 years old and 2 1/2ft tall. In winter it is inside and then outside when weather warms. Gorgeous! My question is when should I repot it? It has been in same pot almost 3 years and doing very well. What do you think?

If your plant has been in the same pot for three years, there's a good chance that it's now getting root bound, where the roots fill the soil and it can no longer get any nutrients. Simply feeding it won't help long term, it will need to be in a bigger pot.

However, Euphorbia are a dangerous animal to handle, due to the white latex sap that they have, even in the roots, so please handle carefully.

The size of the pot is important too - just like the three bears porridge, it has to be just right, not too big, not too small. This page might give you more guidelines; Succulents Pot Size.
