Hello! I bought this succulent/cactus at Marshall’s and no matter how much I google I can’t figure out what it is. An aloe? Haworthia? I’m just looking for accurate care instructions but finding it hard to do without proper identification of the plant. Any help is appreciated! Thank you!

Characteristics by: Jacki Cammidge, Certified Horticulturist This beauty is most likely a hybrid of Aloe and Gasteria, known as x Gasteraloe. They have characteristics of both genera, which both require careful watering (ie: lots at once, then nothing until the soil is bone dry). Here is more on Aloe and Gasteria. |
