Is this what they look like?

Hello,
I bought a small garden wheelbarrow today with around 20 small succulents . Unfortunately on my way home the wheelbarrow fell over in the car and most of the succulents fell out. I have put them back but noticed only a few had roots. Just wondering how to best care for them now they have been so traumatized ! We live in Sale in Gippsland Vic.
Thank you from a novice gardener !

No Worries!

They’ll be fine. Simply pull off any damaged leaves – but don’t discard them, they’ll root to make more plants.

As you didn’t send a picture, it’s hard to say for sure, but most succulents root quickly, although I don’t think much of the company that sold them to you unrooted (bet they charged you full price too!). Point being, you should go back with some pictures of the unrooted plants and get a refund.

So if you decide to keep them, don’t water them! Let them dry out, which is what triggers root growth. More on that here.
