raspberry plant

Hi, I have this raspberry plant that I got two weeks ago. It was doing good and started to have new growth and now has started to die. I live in Phoenix AZ have been making sure it’s watered and keeping it in the sun and shade.

What should I do to get it back?

The thing with raspberry plants is that they normally are not grown in pots. There are several reasons for this, one of which is that they really prefer the deep, cool root run of the ground.

If you want to just try an experiment, cut all the leaves off, as they most likely will never recover and amount to anything. This early in the season, they will produce more leaves. The other thing that might happen is new growth emerging from below the ground level from the roots. These won’t produce fruit this year, just so you know.

I’m not sure what you are hoping to achieve by growing it in a pot.
