Propagate ceropegia woodii?

My ceropegia woodii is about to flower, and with summer coming to an end in a month, the length of this plant is getting out of control so I would like to propagate it. But I don’t know when I should since I want to see it flower, but if I wait the growing season will end and therefore the cuttings will have trouble rooting, as well as growing.

What would you recommend?

 Ditch the Flowers

The flowers are super cute, but really? Not that exciting. I get that you want to see them, but at the expense of missing a good propagating opportunity, not that cute.

You will see them again, they flower frequently once they get to a certain size.

Your other option is to trail the ends of the plant over another pot full of potting soil, weigh it down, in the 'layering' method. Then you can have your flowers and root it too. No need to remove the flowers in this case.

You could also get a grow light to extend the growing season, if that's an option. In reality, these guys are pretty easy going and don't require a lot of light, so their growing season is longer than some plants which rely on the day length to prompt their growth.
