Portulacaria afra variegata
by: Jacki

This one's easy - it's Variegated Elephants Food - yes, that's really what it's called.

There is a plain green kind too, but this one is so pretty with the pale ivory colored stripes. You can see more about it here; Portulacaria afra.

As an African native, this plant likes - you guessed it - warm and bright conditions, and deep occasional watering. And, elephants really do eat it - that's an indication that it will bounce back, better than ever, after a good hard pruning.
