I received a cutting of this plant from someone but I didn’t get the name and I can’t seem to find it. At first it just looked like green onion tops but recently the middle shot out into a long stem with tiny yellow flowers. The root/bottom of the plant is somewhat thin and brown, definitely no bulb. It grew very quickly and the thin green leaves shot out in all directly and eventually it flopped over due to the weight and relatively small stem. Please let me know if you can identify it!

Some kind of Aloe
by: Jacki Cammidge, Certified Horticulturist

This is some kind of Aloe, not sure which one though. The yellow flowers are pretty different, usually Aloe has peach/orange flowers, so you may be able to locate the exact species using that.

More here on a Bing image search.

PS; it needs lots more light, both intensity and length. More here on light requirements for succulents.
