Hi, I just got those beautiful flapjacks 2 weeks ago.

I water them once a week. At first the leaves were upright but now they look almost flaccid!

For the first 10 days I have placed them beside a not so bright window.. but since a few days now I have moved them beside brighter window where they get plenty of light but is almost indirect light..

We live in Egypt it gets pretty hot in the summer may reach up to 39°C some days but our home is air conditioned. I am confused if what did I do wrong? Can flapjacks be grown indoors?

Is indirect sunlight ok or it must get direct sunlight? Pls help

It's not the heat

At first, I was puzzled, up until your description of the air conditioning. These plants hate to be cold. So move it where it won't get blasted with freezing cold air, right now.

They like lots of light, both intensity and day length, but not if it's through a window, which might burn the leaves.

Once you find the right spot indoors, they will grow quite happily there, but not in air conditioning. They would be better outdoors in bright shade, or morning sun only.
