I’ve had this plant since it was about an inch tall and it has continued to surprise me non-stop. As it was growing its leaves began to shape different and then it grew into a cup shape at the top before starting to sprout all the little babies from its sides. At this point my curiosity is overwhelming and im really hoping you can help me get as much informanation about this plant as possible!

Indeed!

This is definitely a Kalanchoe – the species is blossfeldiana – more on it  here.

The cup shaped leaves at the top is where it gets weird. Sometimes, nature goes askew, and things like this are the result. The two top leaves are fused together, in a mutation. This can be spontaneous, or caused by some kind of damage. I seriously doubt if it would continue to grow if you tried to propagate this, as the buds are most likely not viable. This is what causes the pups to emerge, because there is nowhere else for growth to go.

Enjoy it while you can, and then propagate the young plantlets at the base of the stem.
