'leaves'

4 ft, hanging, very durable. Person I got it from does nothing to his plants. 'Leaves' are very green with new growth lighter green. No dead spots or ill looking areas.

This indeed appears to be a tough plant. Sometimes, benign neglect is the best treatment - many plants don't appreciate being overly pampered. I'm pretty sure that this plant is some type of Rhipsalis similar to some of these:

Seaweedlike Succulent

Rice Plant

Alien Fingers

There are some other plants like the String of Banana plant that it resembles too:

String Beans on a thin draping stem

I'll be interested to see if you can find out more about it, as this plant is so interesting in texture.
