This was given to me as a gift and I’m not sure how to care for it! It appears healthy but the long stems have the pot looking bare. Once I know what it is, I can research how to help it thrive in my home.

Not Echeveria
by: Jacki

This looks more like Aeonium ‘Kiwi’ – it has green coloration at certain times of year, but then changes to lovely mango, peach and banana shades. There are other types too, so you’ll have to see if that is what it is due to the color changes.

The long stems are typical, but you can easily behead them and grow more. Each stem will make a whole new plant, to give you lots to practice on.

You can see more about Aeonium here.
