Bug Spray

Ant, Roach & Fly Multi-Insect Trigger Spray safe to spray on plants? I just got a new plant and sprayed it with this because my old plant in the same pot was covered in ants…. NOW I see this was NOT safe on plants and I don’t know what to do!!! I wiped the leaves but I feel my new plant will die because of this. Any ideas if this is true or not?

Comments for I sprayed my new plant with ant killer…..

What is in your spray? What kind of plant is it? THERE ARE NO PICTURES!!!

If the label on the can says that it has essential oils, or any other kinds of oils, it will mark the plants and take off any of the bloom (not flowers, the powdery coating on the leaves). This will not grow back, but it won’t harm the plant unless you put it in full sun.

These kinds of sprays are not meant for plants. Spray them on the soil, or on the ground, but not on the plants. You’re better to get some kind of bait, not spray, for ants.
