Hi, living in South Africa and have a few succulents im not sure of what they are. They outside on the patio and get sunlight from morning till 1pm afternoon.

 Echeveria ‘Topsy Turvy’

Hi Martha, this is an Echeveria – they’re so beautiful and easy to grow! This one is often a ‘first’ or beginner plant, which is fairly slow growing, and only ever forms the single rosette.

It sounds like you’re giving it the right light levels, they don’t like full sun in the afternoon, it just gets too hot, and also, don’t put it directly beside a wall which will reflect intense light back onto it.
