Short dwarflike plant rounded leaves w purple or red on the end
This is one of the best plants for giving a strikingly bright colorful splash, and making an impact with the tall flower stalk.
This is Kalanchoe thyrsiflora, also known as Flapjacks (because it looks just like a stack of pancakes) or the Paddle Plant, because the leaves each resemble a canoe paddle.
It may look dwarf like now, but they are really a large plant when well grown, reaching over 16″ across, and the flower stalk can be over 4′ tall – not a plant for the faint of heart.
