Dying plant switcharoo

This is my daughters’ succulent she got from her boyfriend. She forgot it at home & I was supposed to keep it alive. I am not good at this. Can you please help me identify? I may need to replace it before she comes home. By the way, any idea of the best online store for that?
Thank you!

Hi Lenore, it may be too late to save. Sorry. When a succulent is this stretched out, it's not ever going to go back to how it was originally. The other part of that is, of course, that I won't be able to tell you what it is, because it looks completely different to what it should.

My advice is to 'fess up and tell your daughter that she left it, and now it's yours to experiment with. Who knows? Maybe you'll find the exact spot in your house where it does fantastic, and you can propagate lots more and you can give her one.

There is a lot on this website about general succulent care which can get you started;
