Crested Euphorbia lactea

I bought it at our wonderful convenience/plant store. The owner was not sure what type of succulent it is. I hadn’t seen this kind of fan shape before.

These plants are grafted – the top fan like part is attached to a plain green rootstock.

The problem with grafts is that they can fail, and then the rootstock (being more vigorous) takes over. If it starts growing leaves or stalks from below that ‘v’ shape, cut them off.

Be really careful watering this plant – don’t get water anywhere near the join. This can introduce rot into it.
