Ask Permission to use Pages and Pictures

All the articles on this site are unique - they are not copied from other sources, they are not written by multiple authors or purchased from article writers.

All Content on This Site is Protected by Copyright

I write the articles and pages myself, and have the occasional guest writing a very few pages. By default, copyright is automatically in place, based on the publishing date.

In the world of Search Engines (that provide us all with a valuable service of finding the websites that we are looking for) duplicate content is frowned upon, so copying and pasting my articles into, say, your blog, won't be seen as a useful or desirable practice.

Using a tool that automatically takes the RSS feed of a site and makes it into content for your own blog is also not allowed.

In cases such as these, I may give you the benefit of the doubt the first time.

After that, you will receive a copyright infringement notice, followed by a Disavow filed against your site or blog. Please don't let it get this far!

I take most of the pictures myself, of my own garden, or gardens I visit. If you wish to use the pictures, please contact me first for permission, and possibly other options. For all the images that are purchased from other photographers, please see the list below.

I ask that you don't copy more than a few lines and provide a link back to that page.

If you have any questions about this topic, please don't hesitate to contact me.
