Bells of Ireland?
by: Jacki Cammidge, Certified Horticulturist

This looks like it could be a volunteer seedling of Bells of Ireland, or Moluccella laevis. These annual flowers are grown from seed every year, and don't overwinter. If this is what it is, there is more information here on this Bing image search. The leaves don't look the same, but often, seed leaves have a different appearance to the older leaves.

If this isn't it, I don't know what it could be, sorry.
