Xeric gardening in Chinook country
by Wanda
(Calgary, Alberta)
my xeric thyme garden
I have managed to get all our landscaping done along with killing off ALL our grass. I have even begun planting thyme plants that I have been lucky enough to pick up at local garden stores at reasonable prices. I do however need more thyme plants as I think I have drained out all my local greenhouses and garden centers :) . I have attached a picture of my mostly finished front yard with most of the thyme planted between the flower beds. The back yard is still needing a bit of finishing and many more thyme plants but I'm just so happy to say that my property is grass free!
