pinky , and with a special part in the middle , and like a plate !!???

Drought Smart Plants reply: my first thought with this is Malva, based on the slight striping, and the wide open blooms.

The one plant that is related to the ornamental type of Malva is Okra, the edible part of which is the seed pods.

Malva grows in ordinary garden soil, and although also related to Alcea, the hollyhock, has none of the same issues with rust. The flowers are similar, the leaves rounder and smaller than hollyhock.

I can't find a closer picture of the leaves, but everything else looks very much characteristic of Malva, or mallow.

Hope this helps,
Jacki
