The plant is green and has many oblong shaped segments end to end to form the vines, which at this point are about 1-1/2 to 2 feet long. Each segment is about 2 inches long. Flowers bloom at the end of the last segment.

This is one of the most often grown plants as a legacy plant; they get handed down from mother to daughter, or from a grandmother.
