unidentified succulent

by Natasa

I don't know which kind of succulent this is. Picture gets best description.
After I bought it,its leaves begin to shrivel a bit, like it lacks water. Some of them dry up.

Leaves drying up in winter
by: Jacki

Hi Natasa, thanks for visiting!

Your plant could be going through a normal cycle of renewal, and shedding leaves due to lack of light more than lack of water.

In most cases, unless you have some grow lights succulents don't get the length of daylight they need to grow, and simply go dormant until the spring.

Don't over water it simply because the leaves look a little wrinkled or shriveled.

For its identity, I think this is a type of Crassula known as Goblin Fingers. Look on the Crassula page for more, and also this page; Crassula 'Gollum'.
