I got this succulent about 4 years ago, when it was a baby. It has a long stem/trunk and the leaves are at the very top – green and roundish. Its now about a meter tall and has just started to flower. It has three babies at the base and is growing branches off the side now. I love it, and I need to know its name!

Beautiful!

Hi Kate, your lovely plant is one of the Kalanchoe genus.

There are many, many different species and varieties, many of them very similar, but this one seems to me to resemble this one quite closely; Kalanchoe marnieriana, so have a look at the different pictures and see if it’s the same. If it’s not this one, there are others that are very close. The care will be very similar, and obviously, you’re doing something right because yours looks very happy.

Hi Jackie! Thanks for identifying this for me! I didn’t realise it was in the Kalanchoe family 🙂 Good to know now 🙂
