Mother of Thousands
My husband got a leaf from an unknown succulent plant and we have had the hardest time finding its name and origin.
It doesn’t like direct sunlight as it burns the thick semi spiky leaves. It sort of vines out and reroots itself and must have moist soil.

Mother of Thousands

This is Kalanchoe daigremontiana, the Mother of Thousands (or Millions). More about it here.
These plants love full sun, but they do need to be acclimatized gradually. Any plant that isn’t used to full sun will burn if it’s too sudden of a change.
It also will be more drought tolerant once it gets bigger.
