small succulent

(West Henrietta, NY)

I was wondering if you could identify this little plant.

My friend received it as a gift and wanted to know how to care for it.

Hi Andrew, based on the scalloped edges of the leaves, I'm going to make a guess that this is some kind of Kalanchoe, which sometimes have this characteristic edge. You can see more about Kalanchoe species - pay particular attention to the Kalanchoe blossfeldiana, which I think this is.

You can also find out more about succulent care for an overview of general cultivation tips and hints.
