I'm sorry I can't identify this plant, it's best to have a couple of pictures of other parts of the plant too - like the leaves, and the way they attach to the stem.

It's also important to know if this is a houseplant, an exotic plant brought in from another country, a native plant or what. If you like, send me more pictures, and I'll put them up here too. Maybe someone else will recognize it.
