Shipping Information for Your Plant Order.
Important - Read this Prior to Placing your Plant Order
Shipping Schedule: Shipping to all provinces and territories in Canada starts in spring around April 15, and continues into the fall as long as the weather co-operates. However, due to the fact that it's a one person business all orders must be processed on a first come, first served basis so please order early to avoid disappointment. Shipping Restrictions: I only ship to Canadian addresses as the cost of customs brokering and all the phytosanitary inspections and certificates for other countries is very high. I apologize for any inconvenience.
Packaging Your Order: All orders are carefully and tightly packed in the most economical method of packaging, sometimes recycled. As many succulents are quite happy to be shipped bare root, this may be how you receive them. Contact me using the form below immediately if your order is damaged and I will replace it or refund your money at my discretion. Please note that shipping charges are not refundable - shipping costs on replacement orders will be billed to you.
Your Order has Arrived! When you receive your order, please unpack it as soon as possible. Plugs: If you have ordered Sedum or thyme plugs in a flat, they will arrive stacked on top of each other with newspaper between each layer to protect the lower one. Spread them out in a shady spot to recover. If they've been in transit for a week, they'll be travel weary! Water them only if they seem very dry, and plant them in your landscape as soon as possible. Water in well, then leave them alone. Please let me know immediately if there are any problems, or if you have a question. I'm always happy to make sure you have the best success possible with my plants.
Succulent Plants in Pots: If you've ordered succulent plants, they will arrive either in 2" pots or bare root. The 2" pots will be fine in a bright area - not in full sun in front of a window until they've adapted to your conditions. Water with tempered (tepid) water once they seem to have adjusted and repot as needed. Bare Root Succulent Plants: Bare root plants are shipped without a pot, usually with roots and some soil attached. Make sure you have your well draining soil mix and some pots ready, and pot up the plants into a pot that they just fit into (not too large). Water with tempered (tepid) water only when they have adjusted as watering too early can cause them to rot. Remember - Don't Overwater!
