I found this seedling in my garden approximately three years ago.

Looks like a cactus about 18 inches tall.

Hi Ester, this does indeed look like some type of cactus.

Unfortunately, there are many different kinds, so a positive identification of it may be difficult.

As for why you would get it sprouting in your garden, maybe a neighbor has one that produced flowers and set some seed.

This might lead to an answer for you if you can find out where the seed might have come from.

Did you ever figure out what this cactus is called. I saw one recently & have been looking everywhere trying to figure out the name so I could try to find one to buy. It’s a must have for me!!😊
