Drought Smart Plants reply:
Hi Ahmed - this one is pretty difficult to identify - there are many, many daisy like flowers, that are so similar at certain stages of growth that it's pretty much impossible to pin them down.
A couple of possibilities: based on the feathery foliage, this almost looks to me like Cosmos, a pretty summer flowering annual. If you know if this is a plant that has to be planted every year, it might be Cosmos.
Other choices are Anthemis, Calliopsis and many others. Sorry I can't pin it down a bit more for you, but these "yellow daisy type flowers" are notorious for the difficulty in identifying them. Even botanists can't always get it right, and they use a designation of SYD - Small Yellow Daisy - to describe them.
Save some seeds of these, and next year, you'll have lots.
Best of luck,
Jacki
