Please can you tell me what kind of succulent this plant is and it’s name?

It has two long stems and it’s leaves are dark green with a red line around the edges and also in the center of the leaves.

Leaves are a little fleshy and have red backs.

Drought Smart Plants reply:

This is one of my favorite plants: Echeveria nodulosa ‘Painted Beauty’

Hi Brigitte, thanks for visiting. Your plant is one the most recognizable of the Echeveria, due to the unique colouration and growth habit.

Echeveria nodulosa ‘Painted Beauty’ is one of the easier and more commonly grown of this tribe, it’s only requirement is to be pruned back every now and then to prevent it getting leggy.

New growth will form and make it more compact, so don’t be afraid to prune – for more information see the page on pruning succulent plants.

Happy Succulent Growing!
