long green spikes growing from plant - I wish to transplant this - when should that happen?

Drought Smart Plants reply; Hi Maureen, those 'green spikes' are the flower stalks on your gorgeous Echeveria. I would wait to transplant it until after it's finished blooming, which may take up to three weeks or so.

I can totally understand you wanting to transplant it, as it's starting to lean over, but you might as well wait and enjoy the blooms. They are over with so quickly, as they only flower once a year.

Look at the page on succulent plant propagation to get some idea of what to do.

Happy Succulent Summer!
