book2 600x120 2

I have recently bought two new succulents and have no idea about them.

I was told that they could withstand days without water, but that just sounded weird.

So, my question much should i water them and between how many days?

Also, when do they flower? My guess is in the spring/ summer time but I have them potted, in my house. Therefore, I don’t really know if it is the same. Lastly, how do I know when the plants need to be transplanted.

Thanks

Hi Christian, they’re not kidding when they say that these plants can go without water for a long time – mine typically survive without any water at all for the winter months, under lights.

During the summer, they require much more water, and more often, say once a week or more, depending on where you live and how dry the air is, and the temperature.

I can’t really speak to when these plants will bloom, because there are many different kinds, from all kinds of species, so without pictures, I can’t tell you what you have and how to specifically take care of them.

You can see more about general succulent care here.

Hope that helps,
