light green leaves with dark green stripes

My plant has green leaves with dark green stripes and pink color at the top where the new grown is.

Leaves are also prickly with small thin spikes. I have only the cutting planted so I don't know how it is supposed to look fully grown but I assume it branches as in leaves growing out of leaves.

I know it flowers, the guy who gave it to me said so, and the flowers are small and whitish with a little bit of pink.

please help me identify this plant! I have searched the web but couldn't find anything.

Drought Smart Plants reply: There are a couple of possibilities that this plant could be; from the description of the foliage it sounds a bit like either Huernia or Stapelia, the Carrion Flowers but without seeing the flower I can't for sure identify it as either of those.

My suggestion would be to wait until it blooms, or take a picture of the parent plant with flowers, as the condition of the cutting may not show how it will look as an adult.

Sorry I can't help identify your plant!
