It looks as if it grows from a bulb and I think that too much sunlight is killing it

It is about 2 feet high it looks to grow from a bulb and the plants/green vines grow up with at each end a beautiful green leaves that to me looks like claws? I am not a plant or garden person and this was in a potted planter in my backyard when I moved in and not sure how to keep it alive since I have moved it?

Drought Smart Plants reply:
Hi Jonissa, There are several plants that resemble this one, unfortunately without more information I'm sorry I can't tell you what it is.

For care, it looks quite happy, and as you live in a warm climate, you won't have to worry about frost too often!

I would say that it may not like full sun too much, so a bright but shaded area, and watering every so often will keep this guy alive and thriving.

Make sure that there is a drain hole in the pot. This is the quickest way to kill a plant by flooding the soil.

Most plants that are grown as houseplants are easy to care for, so don't worry too much.

Good luck with your plant!
