It is so beautiful!! And so unique
by Beverley
(Kitchener, Ontario, Canada)
the leaves are light-ish green bordered with pink and almost a blue. Long stems grow from the base. The stems are pink and grow (at least mine are)over 2 feet. About 1/2 way (12") the start to flower. The buds look like minature peppers and when they bloom, they range in colour from pink so dark it's almost burgundy to light green. They don't have petals per se but the bud does split open and the stamens are almost lilly like.
