is it poisonous?
by Sam
(Texas)
Its stem starts out green and as it grows gets thicker and turns a tanish grey. Its leaves are teardrop shaped and about a 1/4in thick, green, porous, waxy, and a little squishy. I need to know what this plant is because my daughter took a bite of the leaf. Please help as soon as you can. Thanks. Drought Smart Plants reply:
Sam, get your daughter to the emergency room right away if you're not sure. I can't identify this plant by your description.
IF IN DOUBT, ASSUME IT'S POISONOUS, ESPECIALLY IF A CHILD IS INVOLVED!!!!!
Take a piece of the plant with you.
Good luck, Jacki
