…they give a lovely show all year around and change shape all of the time while growing.

I started with a very few succulants and have gradually potted them into containers to get the look I want in my small garden.

I even have a glass window in my shower that looks out onto my biggest jade? succulant, some bromeliads, and another beautiful variety of succulant that I don’t even know the name of yet.

I love my Grandma’s favourite plant the military fern, and have many that spring up and flourish in our central Queensland climate.

Zygocactus grow well here, but aren’t flowering yet, but when they do they put on a real show.

Terrariums are also a great home for succulants, and although the picture doesn’t show these to their best advantage, are lovely.

We only moved into this new house 5 months ago, but I was fortunate enough to have had the larger potted plants for a couple for years at my old home.

The terrarium is old, but the plants were artificial, so I “ditched” them for these…..

Here are some pictures….hope you like them.

I’m so envious of your view out of your shower! How great is that? Thanks for sharing your great pictures, Lynnie.

I really like the lantern with plants in that you have on your table.

Thank you

It has been an amazing Summer, Autumn, period here in my new garden. I have witness some beautiful transformations from both my succulants and bromeliads…with flowers from both lasting for ages….great value for the very small amount of care and time needed to get them to grow…

Thank you all for your positive comments….

It’s so strange to me to think that your seasons are the opposite of what they are here – we’re just starting summer…
