Hortense Miller Garden

This garden, if you're at all interested in xeriscaping, and you're fortunate enough to be visiting Laguna Beach California, is one that you really need to see.

Luckily, Hortense had the good sense to will her garden to the city, who took on the task of continuing her vision of the garden as a rugged example of the right plant in the right place. Built into a steep hillside, and using only railroad ties as steps, Hortense and one gardener made this gorgeous drought tolerant garden. Find out more about it here:
