Grey Smooth

I bought this awesome plant, but I don't know how to take care of it, or even what it is. The label only says "1" Assortment Cactus Plant". It's grey with some pink-beige at the top of the stems. The skin is smooth and hard with wrinkles at the top.

Oh, lucky you! This is a Lithops, one of the most interesting and intriguing little plants.

Also known as Living Stones, or Pebble Plants, these extremely drought tolerant plants are somewhat challenging, but very satisfying to grow.

These plants are very touchy about the amount and frequency of watering, which leads to a lot of disappointment when they rot, but as long as you realize their dormancy requirements they are long lived.
