This e-book can help you design your dream greenhouse, from the ground up.

Decide on whether to have a Gothic arch poly tube greenhouse or a romantic Victorian style using recycled windows.

Greenhouse gardening can be the most enthralling hobby, but the pitfalls and tribulations of planning your dream greenhouse can be challenging – not to worry, I’ve made all the mistakes for you.

I’ll tell you the pros and cons of each type of structure and how these greenhouse ideas can work for you.

Decide whether you’ll make a greenhouse from salvaged windows and architectural trim, with great charm and a vintage look, or if you’ll make your own greenhouse to be an easy to maintain structure with more businesslike characteristics.

A lean to greenhouse will take advantage of an existing building for one of its walls – if cheaper construction is key to your success, then by all means use this method.

A hoop house can be constructed more cheaply than an actual greenhouse, and may be all you need. In most cases these are built tall enough to stand in, and provide protection for winter gardening crops or as shelter for seedlings until they can be moved outdoors.

Another cheap option is the pvc greenhouse, built from readily available supplies.

You may decide that for your situation it would be ideal to have a mini greenhouse.

Mini greenhouses are sometimes portable, generally with enough room to grow a few flats of seedlings, or even a couple of tomato plants comfortably. If this is an option that would suit your growing needs, find out a few different ideas.

Need help with planning and building staging for your plants? I’ll tell you more about each option, and where they are the best choices.

Greenhouse Growing

What about pest control? How do you keep mice, chipmunks and other vermin from marauding in your greenhouse and destroying your valuable plants?

How do you fight insects in the greenhouse? Where do you start, and what are the cheapest and easiest ways (besides spraying deadly chemicals)?

Starting a greenhouse, whether it’s simply as a pleasant leisure activity, or with the more serious aim of starting a greenhouse business, growing plants for sale, use this Greenhouse Management Guide to help you along the way to successful, thriving greenhouse growing.
