Some type of tender Sedum?
by: Jacki

Hi Mary,
I think it's pretty close - I believe it's a Sedum rubrotinctum, Jelly bean Sedum. These ones are not hardy as they're native to Mexico, so indoors for the winter with bright light. They root easily from stem cuttings and even the leaves if they fall off will produce a new plant.

Very pretty!

Gotta love those "Jelly Beans"
by: Countrymouse

Hi Mary,
Great choice.
I have a couple of these in dish gardens. Mine are a darker green - don't know what that means.... if anything.
Everyone who sees them comments on them. It's a plant that seems to appeal to EVERYone. One person said they look like they're about to explode.
I do notice that they tend to drop their fat, little leaves when we get too much rain for them so if it looks like rain and they don't need it, I run out and cover the little darlings with plastic.
(As if I don't have enough to do with my time)
I really like them, and they make a great "companion plant" for other succulents in dish gardens as they certainly add to the collection but don't distract the eye from other varieties.
