green, four sides, ridges on the edges, gets a brown flower with darker brown stripes and a bit fussy and waxy.

That was the hint I needed it is a
Carrion Plant, Carrion Flower, Starfish Plant, Toad Plant, Zulu Giant (Stapelia gigantea)
