Fast growing!

No idea what this is other than we like it.Dont know where to start looking to find out. Do hope you can help us. Many thanks

Without a little more information about where you're located, and if possible, your growing zone it's hard to give you anywhere to start. Is this plant hardy in your area? Does it have to be taken in for the winter?

About all I can tell you is that it's a cactus. Opuntia tend to have these flat pads, growing off each other to form a considerable sized plant. They also bloom in lovely shades of lemon, pink, orange and red if given the right conditions. You can see more about this type of hardy cacti here.

Here are a few other options on Dave's Garden Website:

Beavertail Cactus

Smooth Mountain Prickly Pear

Hope that helps give you somewhere to start.
