I sell mostly mail order through this website, but I'm located in a quiet wooded canyon about 17 km north of Grand Forks, B.C.

My specialties are Succulents, Sedum, Sempervivum and Thyme for Xeric Gardens, Dry Patios and Green Roofs. All plants are hardy to Zone 5, except the tender succulents which are grown as houseplants.
I would say that my favorite projects are Glory Be, the root cellar with cordwood walls and a green roof, my xeric display gardens with rock walls, terraces and thyme lawns.
With less water available for wantonly watering lush green grass and the high water requirements of many common garden plants it's important to be pro-active and start voluntarily growing some of these plants that don't need or want supplemental water.
I routinely go a whole summer (hot and dry here in this semi-arid climate) without using much if any extra water than what falls in the form of rain. My demonstration gardens are the proof that you can do it too - simply choose the right plant for the place.
