Short note regarding nomenclature, otherwise known as the naming of plants. There is a lot of confusion about names in the plant world. It's a constantly evolving science, and names that you've become quite comfortable with can change overnight. Trying to keep up with the changes can be an exercise in futility. Please let me know if you think I've made an error in the way plants are named on this site.
