Daddy Long Legs waiting for lunch

Daddy Long Legs spiders are active and athletic. Their extremely long legs and big body seems at first glance to be like a childs drawing, but they are extremely good at their job, which is predation of insects.

They don't build a web, preferring to run down their prey.

Apparently, their venom is the strongest of all spiders, including that of the Black Widow spider and the Brown Recluse spider, but as their fangs are so weak, humans are at no risk from receiving a bite. They prey strictly on pest insects.
