This gorgeous blue glazed pot that I got from a friend arrived with Agapanthus in. The Agapanthus never bloomed, so out it came.
I racked my brains to find other great plants to put in this pot, and eventually planted it with hardy succulent plants, which are actually in a plastic pot which is put inside the pottery one.
This way I can take the plants out in the fall to take the pot inside for the winter. I would hate to have it get broken if it filled with water and froze.

Uh oh!

I think I’m in serious trouble!!
Everyone has such terrific ideas for housing their succulents, and with such artistic flair that I suspect I’ll be attending more lawn sales – perhaps even rooting through discards on garbage day. (gulp)
Problem is, if I got caught, how could I explain that I was looking for containers for my plants? Nobody would believe me!
My succulents may get me admitted to the psychiatric wing of the local hospital.
